In 2005, a tribute compilation to Les Paul was released, and titled “American Made World Played“. In it, a cover of the famous song “All I Want Is You“, originally performed by the Irish band U2, was included. Such cover was actually performed by Goo Goo Dolls lead singer John Rzeznik.
Today, I am sharing this song with you. Overall, it is a very good cover with a high-value production quality. Rzeznik does not deviate much from the original version, and offers a loyal and deeply emotional interpretation of it. To my understanding, this song is actually pretty rare and I often hear Goo Goo Dolls fans asking for it. You can listen to it below.
