Not much is known about the Goo Goo Dolls cover for “867-5309/Jenny“, a Tommy Tutone hit which was released in 1981. Apparently, the band performed a cover for that tune in 1993, before the famous Metro show.
In terms of audio quality, I guess it’s OK for its time, and also given the fact it was recorded many years ago, and from a (most likely) mono source, I lean toward overall decent value. Today I want to share it with you.
This is a fun song and you can hear the band members having fun playing it, and cracking jokes as they do. Furthermore, it is a pretty rare exhibit not too many people have the luck to own.
