Live At Shea’s Performing Arts Center, Buffalo, NY, Oct. 19th, 2018

Here we go with another unforgettable live concert. This one is a real treat, as it comes with both a long track listing and high-quality sound criteria.

Today I am sharing the Goo Goo Dolls live show which took place on October 19th, 2018 at their hometown in Buffalo, NY. This was part of the “Dizzy Up The Girl 2018 Tour”, established to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the band’s most famous and successful album.

It was a very interesting tour because not only did the band play the album in its entirety, but they also executed live performances of old classics dating all the way back to 1990. Unfortunately, the latter is something the band has not been much prone to do during the past decade or so. As a consequence, here we get to experience how “modern” Goo Goo Dolls approach old tunes like “There You Are“, “Lucky Star“, and “Two Days In February“.

Speaking of songs, there is a total of 26 (!) tracks being played in this event, for almost two hours of live material. In terms of audio quality, I’d say very good, particularity the instruments which in my opinion sound extremely clear and polished.

  1. I travelled from the U.K. to see a show on this tour (Seattle). It was incredible and will stay with me forever. Goes without saying I wish I could have heard Bulletproof, There You, Fallin Down and Stop the World etc. in their heyday but I will take what I can get.
