Live At The Cat’s Cradle, Carrboro, NC (June 25th, 1995)

Here comes another show from the “A Boy Named Goo” era. This is a concert that took place in North Carolina, on June 25th, 1995

I really don’t have any further information about this event, besides its time and location. What I will comment on, however, has to do with its overall quality.

Unfortunately, in this case, quality is a bit lacking, and you will also notice that the recording, for whatever reason, did not properly catch most of the singing as well. The final result is a low-to-mid low quality audio document that despite its flaws I still find to be quite enjoyable.

On top of that, whoever recorded it did not include the songs “Already There“, “Impersonality“, and “Slave Girl“. Plus, “Flat Top” is interrupted. Finally, the band plays “Stop The World“, which setlist.fm does not even include in their track listing. Yeah, overall it’s a bit of a mess.

In terms of performed songs, you get your typical mixture of old and then-brand new tunes, with a focus on both the then-newest album and its previous effort. I guess what’s noteworthy here is that they play the INXS’ cover for “Don’t Change“, a song they began playing live for the first time just one month prior.

You can listen to the live show below. Download links are provided at the end of this post.

PLEASE NOTICE: You will be downloading a single .mp3 file featuring the concert in its entirety, rather than a file for each song. In order to preserve the digital file’s original status, I opted to not doctor it in any way.
