I’m Awake Now (720p High-Definition Transfer, 1991)

Here is a pretty unique release for those who dig the “Hold Me Up” era. Specifically, we’re talking about the song the band wrote for the “A Nightmare On Elm Street VI” movie, along with its correlated music video.

The director of what was supposed to be the last installment in the famous franchise must have liked the band quite a lot. Not only they asked the Goo Goo Dolls to pen a song for the movie, but they also included in the official soundtrack two other songs the band had previously released: “You Know What I Mean” and “Two Days In February“.

At the time I’m publishing this post, it is unknown who directed the video clip. Anyway, today I am sharing an high-quality version of “I’m Awake Now“, which was converted from the original film (most likely shot in 35mm) to a digital format, and encoded at 720 pixels. The version you will watch here should feature both better audio and video quality when compared to the versions which have been previously published online.

The file was originally taken from here.
