Today I want to share a pretty cool TV appearance the Goo Goo Dolls did back in 2002, on a VH1 show.
The episode was hosted by actor Zach Galifianakis, and featured a brief backstage segment with John goofing around, along with a studio live performance for their then-newest song “Here Is Gone” which gets interrupted in the middle of its execution before they reprise it at the end of the episode.
This was a fun, mindless appearance aligned with the spirit of Zack’s show.
Now, on to the not-so-good part. This is a VHS rip which was created with low conversion rate. Whoever ripped this from the original analog source to a digital one opted for a small video size, even lower than the standard for SD videos, which is 480p. As a result, you may not get the greatest video quality, but it is still watchable, if anything for its rarity.
