Today I received an email from a blog reader named Javier. Let’s see what he had to say.
First and foremost, Javier provided us with a 1991 concert which will be posted on the blog in the coming days/weeks. Thanks a lot for being proactive! He also wanted to thank Mr. Sean Hampson for his services. For the very few of you who don’t know who he is: he has been forwarding us with plenty of very rare and interesting Goo Goo Dolls material for the past months. Make sure to pay a visit to his dedicated category to check his goodies.
Anyhow, Javier asked if I had a copy of the 1998 performance the Goo Goo Dolls did at the Jay Leno show, pictured here and here. You can see John wearing his famous “We Are The Normal” shirt. (By the way, I’ve been looking for that shirt for years. If you happen to know where to get it, please let me know).
Javier is also looking for another Jay Leno appearance, the one they did in 2001 to promote the release of “What I Learned About Ego, Opinion, Art, And Commerce“. In that occasion they played the re-recorded version of “Two Days In February” which appears on the same compilation.
I don’t have the Jay Leno performances he’s looking for, but will gladly post them when I get them. If you do have them, and feel like helping out a fellow Goo fan, shoot us an email.
Remember: Sharing is caring.
