The band is once again invited to the Daily Show, this time to promote the release of their then-newest album “Gutterflower”, the long-awaited follow-up to their 1998 breakthrough release.
It’s time to release another Daily Show TV appearance. Today I am sharing the one which aired on April 11th, 2002. Jon Stewart is presenting, and again only John and Robby are sitting on the famous couch, while Mike is nowhere to be found.
In this occasion the band is interviewed for longer (about six minutes). Unfortunately, the quality here is not the greatest. We’re dealing with a VHS rip which was converted from its analog source to a digital format, with only 360p in terms of video size. The standard for VHS rips is 480p. Either way, it’s watchable.
A chill and relaxed session aligned with the spirit of the Daily Show.
