Live At Shea’s Performing Arts Center, Buffalo, NY (2001)

Today I am sharing a few YouTube links forwarded to me by user Javier, who has been sending us some interesting material as of late.

Javier linked some YouTube videos which captured the performance at the Shea’s Performing Arts Center in the band’s native city of Buffalo, NY. The show took place on December 30th, 2001.

It’s a very short concert featuring only six songs. Also, the video quality for it is very bad, unfortunately. Nevertheless, this is quite rare content which I personally never had the chance to enjoy before.

Below is the message Javier sent me, which also includes a few more details about the performance.

The Goo Goo Dolls Live 2001!!!!
This presentation was made during December 30 at Shea’s Teathre in Buffalo NY.
It consists of a few Goo songs, but what is striking is that we did not find a second guitarist in this presentation, that is, neither Nathan December from the 1998 to 2000 DUTG tour and Greg Suran who started with the Dolls as second guitar in in 2002 for the GTFW tour, so it’s an interesting show to watch, it’s a pity that it’s in such lousy quality, incredibly they play Naked and Broadway, in which Johnny does a solo which he played the second guitarist or played the harmonica.

It makes you think how they would have sounded if they had toured that year, and even made one dedicated to the What I Learned compilation of that year, greetings and long live Goo Goo Dolls.

Here´s the setlist:
Slide
Black Balloon
Naked
Burnin´ Up
Broadway
American Girl

Thanks a lot Javier for your input.
