Just a few weeks shy of their worldwide success thanks to the breakthrough album “Dizzy Up The Girl”, the Goo Goo Dolls appeared on one of the most popular American TV shows to perform live.
On January 14th, 1999, the band played their next single “Slide” at the famous Late Night With Conan O’Brien. In the clip taken out of that episode, we only get to see the song being executed, without any kind of interview with any member of the band whatsoever.
In terms of quality, this is certainly a VHS rip which comes with the standard format in relation to video size (480p). To be honest, this may be one of the best rips for old-style video cassettes I’ve ever put my hands on. Keep in mind, like many of these encoding jobs, it may appear blurry and/or feature some screen flickering, such as vertical lines popping out here and there, or moving along the screen itself.
