Let’s dive again into the past with another bootleg from the “Dizzy Up The Girl” era.
On March 29th, 1999, the Goo Goo Dolls played at the Hartford Civic Center in Connecticut (The venue was later renamed to XL Center). This was actually a pretty short concert, featuring only 11 songs from their then-last two full lengths.
I get the sense this was some kind of introduction show to make people more familiar with the previous hit singles spawned from “A Boy Named Goo”, along with the new tunes from the breakthrough release. It also feels a bit rushed overall, with the band making no speeches throughout the whole session, as they usually do, with a kind of a touch-and-go approach.

In terms of audio quality, I’d say it is okay. Sounds are pretty clear, but there are some general background noises which, in my opinion, reduce the overall value of the bootleg. Nonetheless, it is worth listening to, especially because the songs are very well executed.
