Name: Egg Nog version

Today, we have another YouTube link from Bailey. This time, it’s a cool performance of the 1995’s hit single “Name” with a special flavor…

I won’t ruin the surprise and I’ll let Bailey do the talking as well. I will just say that I have never seen this performance before. You want to watch it all, especially the last few seconds of it.

I think I’d like to call this a precursor to that “Guitar World” interview I shared last week. Why? Well the “Eggnog” part of it. Hence the title of the video. This was performed on the David Letterman show.

So why it’s tied to the interview, you might ask? Well, here’s a clip from it that should explain things:

The show’s gap- toothed host gestures towards the massive bowl of eggnog he’s been milking all night long. In unison, Goo Goo Dolls guitarist/singer John Rzeznik, and bassist Robby Takac drop their axes, race across the set and hurl themselves into the Jacuzzi-sized vat of off-white holiday cheer.”

Overall the video comes with great quality and the performance was good.
