VH1 Storytellers Clips (2002)

One of the most loved performances during the “Gutterflower” era is certainly the TV appearance the Goo Goo Dolls did at the famous VH1 program called Storytellers, back in 2002. While the entire performance, as of November 2023, has gone from the YouTube platform, contributor Bailey managed to gather and save a collection of clips from the latter, which we share with you all today.

I also wanted to include some of the videos I managed to find from VH1 Storytellers. I’m on the lookout for more, and if anyone has the full show, I would love to see that as well.

I can imagine lots of people have tried to publish these to youtube, with no luck. Well, mine lasted a couple months…and I’m curious to see how long “Sympathy” lasts. Just in case mine gets blocked (please just let me know and I’ll post it on Vimeo), I found this one as well

I also did stumble across “Iris”, which I downloaded just in case it gets blocked as well. I highly doubt it will because it’s been on YouTube for 15 years, but you never know.

On a final note, a couple of weeks ago someone contacted me, offering the whole Storytellers performance in its audiovisual form. I actually replied to their message, but haven’t gotten a follow-up yet. If you are reading this, we are all waiting on you!
