Unknown Concert, Unknown Year (Mostly Covers)

The latest addition to our database is an unknown concert mostly made up of covers.

Unfortunately I have very scarce info about today’s release. First and foremost, I am not even sure it’s one concert only, or two different ones blended together. I tend to lean towards the latter, but I guess I’ll leave that decision to our readers in order to reach a consensus.

This bootleg is a strange one because it mainly features the band going erratically from one cover to the next, and in many occasions they only play parts of it before switching to the next one. In a nutshell, they certainly goof around quite a lot.

In terms of venue and year (years?) of release, I have no clue. To me, this sounds like a 1990 or 1991 concert (concerts?), mainly because the covers presented here were played quite a few times during that period.

We have a total of 14 songs, out of which only three were originally recorded by the Goo Goo Dolls, while the rest was penned by other bands.

Quality-wise, not so great but not so bad as well. I guess it’s an OK bootleg, given the fact it should be an early 1990’s recording.

If you have more info about this release, I encourage you to let us know. My source provided this to me without any additional details I could share with you all.
