Contributor Bailey sent us a YouTube link of a recording which took place in 2002, during the “Gutterflower” tour, showing an entire Goo Goo Dolls show in pretty good quality.
I know there are readers out there who are very much interested in the “Gutterflower” era which, strangely enough, does not seem to have (so far) provided us fans with that many bootlegs to enjoy and share with the community. Today is the exception to the rule thanks to a recently-uploaded concert, which Bailey details below:
Hello!
I’m back again with another rare 2002 show, this one featuring film from the Goo Goo Dolls infamous “Hall and Oaks” skit (which I believe the full thing is up on YouTube somewhere) I haven’t given it much of a listen—I’ve only made it to “Long Way Down” the second song, but so far it’s been a great show, and has an interesting set list. Here is the setlist.fm entry for it. Notable mentions, at least to me are “you never know”, “Truth is a whisper” which is quite the fan favorite but wasn’t played after 2003, and “All Eyes on Me” which sounded great live but hadn’t made an appearance in the set list since 2018 for the DUTG 20th anniversary tour. Many thanks to channel Electronaut for posting this show.
Furthermore, she also forwarded us a few never-seen-before shots from the year 2001.
And, while I’m at it, I’ll share a couple rare pictures from that era. A candid shot of John (probably during an interview), one of Robby playing his orange bass and smiling, and John playing live circa 2001.
This is all I have to share today,
Stay gooey

Thanks Bailey for the cool stuff!
Hey there, uploader here! Thanks for posting this – I love the site and am glad more folks can enjoy this show. I’m happy to share the mp4 rip if you’d like to add it to your archive. 🙂
I’ve tried reaching out through your email form but haven’t heard back – I have a handful more bootlegs that I don’t see in your archive that I’d be glad to share. Let me know if there’s a better way to get in touch!
