The next release from contributor Christina is a 2003 clip featuring the Goo Goo Dolls playing one of their more known hits at the famous Super Bowl.
In 2003 John et al. had been invited to play at the Super Bowl, which took place in San Diego, CA. While ABC only aired one song off of the entire set list, the rest of the show is actually available. Let’s get the details directly from Christina:

This performance aired as part of ABC’s Super Bowl pre-show coverage. The network only aired “Big Machine”, but the band put on a full show which can be found in audio format here
As you’ve already suspected, this is obviously a VHS rip featuring the standardized 640x480p encoding format. Quality-wise, I’d say not bad at all given the medium it comes from.
In my opinion the execution here is just as energetic as it is effective. I think the band tried its best to sound as good as possible during the “Gutterflower” tour, and here it shows.
