Next one up from contributor Christina is a live performance which took place in 2000 at the worldwide famous event “Kids Choice Awards“.
Today’s release was actually already shared by another contributor, Bailey, however we decided to add to our archive Christina’s version as well, in case Bailey’s upload won’t be available anymore in the future for whatever reason.
The Goo Goo Dolls’ performance is only comprised of two songs, “Broadway” and “Slide“. Let’s get more info directly from Christina:

I like that you can hear John trying on the fly to tweak some of the lyrics to be more kid-friendly while totally forgetting to on others. It also feels like they are blindsided by the amount of confetti and fireworks that happen during each respective performance. 🙂
Again, we are dealing with a VHS rip coming with the standardized 640x480p encoding format. Quality-wise, not bad at all despite some annoying pixelation here and there.
I don’t have much to add besides mentioning that I know this is yet another footage for something that is already available on YouTube. Worry not, this is not going to be the norm for the rest of the upcoming releases we will put out, as the latter also include never-posted-before material. Bear with us as we slowly make everything that’s been queued up available to the Goo masses.
