Today’s release is a brief appearance John and Robby made back in 2000, to promote VH1’s event “Save The Music“.
We have yet another video clip from contributor Christina, a special appearance the Goo Goo Dolls did exactly 24 years ago at one of the many VH1’s events. This time it was for “Save The Music”. John and Robby appear in the Today Show segment of the program. Christina has some more information to share:
No performance on this one, just a couple moments of John & Robby helping collect musical instruments from the crowd for VH1’s “Save the Music” charity to keep music education in schools.
The duo exchanges some words with the crowd and some more with one of the hosts, where they discuss the matter at hand. Like Christina said, there is no performance here but only an appearance for a just cause.
This is another VHS rip coming with the standardized 640x480p encoding format. Quality-wise, there are a few frames here and there which are badly encoded but overall it is pretty watchable. Words are more important than images in this case, in my humble opinion.
