Let’s enjoy another video sent to us by contributor Christina. In order to promote “Gutterflower”, 2002 was a busy year for the band. In this occasion, John et al. took part to the Wayne Brady Show with a live take plus a small interview.
Now, these are the kind of interactions I like: live performances either anticipated or followed by an interview with the band. This is the case for today’s release, where the Goo Goo Dolls first delighted our ears with “Big Machine” and then were offered to chance to speak their minds. Let’s see what Christina has to say about it:
A solid performance plus an interview with the band. John’s predictions of where the band would be in 15 years weren’t quite accurate. 🙂
The interview itself is quite short but it comes with a little sketch by John who makes fun of the song which started their ascend into stardom, “Name“.
Overall, this is pretty interesting material that I personally haven’t seen before.
The video is obviously a VHS rip coming with the standardized 640x480p encoding format. Quality is very good in my opinion.
