Contributor Christina‘s next release is a four-minute interview lead singer and guitarist John Rzeznik did on live TV back in 2000.
The success of “Dizzy Up The Girl” gave the band members the chance to get themselves more known to the wider audiences, on top of providing the possibility to participate to various and disparate initiatives. One of them was the 2000’s edition of the “Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards“. To promote the event, John was interviewed on KTTV by one of the hosts of show “Good Day LA“. Already on Youtube – One of the more unhinged TV interview clips I’ve ever seen, especially considering John was there to promote the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, but boy is it funny. John showing off his “rockstar hair” is a look for the ages.
I didn’t see many differences between the original YouTube uploader and Christina’s version. Nonetheless, we publish her rip as well in case the former should disappear in the future.
As far as the video is concerned, this is obviously a VHS rip coming with the standardized 640x480p encoding format.
