Live At The Venue At Thunder Valley, Lincoln, CA (2024)

We add our first 2024 concert to our archive with a very good performance the band did just a couple of months ago.

On April 6th, 2024 the Goo Goo Dolls played a show in Lincoln, CA. The concert was packed with a total of 22 songs for about 96 minutes of music, and strangely enough, it actually featured the majority of the songs coming from “Dizzy Up The Girl” and “Gutterflower”. I find this to be a bit weird, as the band had released “Chaos In Bloom” just two years prior. I’m not sure why they decided to mainly focus on those two releases, though as far as I’m concerned I should say I was happy with such decision.

This bootleg also comes with very high audio quality. I am pretty sure it was recorded by a professional who utilized top-notch equipment. Therefore, we are looking at a soundboard recording rather than a crowd one. These are pretty hard to come by.

Despite being close to pushing to their 60’s, John and Robby’s execution here is impeccable. The show is quite energetic and the instrumentation sounds extremely good.
