Bailey’s New Hot Pink Goo Vinyl

Today we publish something different coming from contributor Bailey, taken straight from her personal collection.

This post is not the usual release / trivia / band photo which we are used to promote here on the blog. Rather, it is all about one of our readers, or contributor in this case, wanting to share pictures of some of their rare Goo items. Bailey clarifies what is going on:

Hello!

Usually I don’t have anything to share from my own personal collection, but today I do! A couple days ago, this beautiful record came in the mail…

This is the Only One ‘45 released in 1995. It features Only One (no radio edit) and on the B side has the two covers from A Boy Named Goo: Slave Girl and Disconnected, which has a slightly different sounding intro. (I would rip it but it’s really really complicated to do that with a vinyl) This is a pretty rare find for me at least. I’ve got a white Hold Me Up vinyl and a silver Dizzy Up The Girl which they don’t sell anymore (it was a special release for the 25th anniversary last year). This one is the first ‘45 I’ve ever bought. For those who don’t know a lot about records, ‘45s are the really teeny ones. This one is about the size of my hand!

Just wanted to share this amazing work of art with the temple since I love it so much!

Cheers,

Bailey
