Live At The Greek Theatre, Los Angeles, CA (2010)

The next release from contributor Ryne is a 2010 show from the “Something For The Rest Of Us” tour which features more than 90 minutes of great music.

On August 29th, 2010 the Goo Goo Dolls were deep into the Summer Tour for their ninth studio album. This was a pretty meaty concert which took place at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, CA. Ryne has more info about it:

But the next release on my list is a more recent concert, From the 2010 leg of the ‘Something for the rest of us’ tour. And we take you to the Greek Theater in LA, With an Audio-Only bootleg.

We have a fairly lengthy show for this one, With a setlist that boasts 22 songs. And it certainly contains a few great songs, Such as ‘All Eyes On Me’.

Quality Wise, Audio is alright. The one issue that i certainly ran into was that, For some reason, The audio was muted during the performance of ‘NotBroken’.

The bootleg was all the whole show, And not bits and pieces thrown together. So its not a case of ‘missing a song’ by accident. That said, You unfortunately won’t be able to hear that particular song. Which I do apologize for.

Otherwise, I think this show is still a great one. 🙂

Like Ryne said, there is silence as “Notbroken” is performed so you will hear static in-between “Iris” and “Broadway“. A nice thing about it is the song “Another Second Time Around” being the only representative for “Superstar Car Wash”, rather than the usual “Lucky Star“.

As far as the concert is concerned, this recording comes with very good quality although the audio volume is a bit low so you might have to turn it up. The instrumentation and the vocals are very clean, making it one of the best bootlegs we’ve released so far.
