We have another live TV performance for “I’m Still Here“, the first John Rzeznik’s solo song which was released in 2002, courtesy of contributor Ryne.
The year 2002 was certainly a busy one on both the Goo Goo Dolls and John Rzeznik’s fronts. On top of issuing the band’s seventh album, the lead singer and guitarist had in fact also released two songs for the Treasure Planet soundtrack, which were issued under his own name. A few TV live takes for it the one which was chosen as a single, “I’m Still Here” took place, including this one done at the Regis And Kelly Show. Ryne has more info about it:
Guess what fellas? I’ve got another performance of the song ‘I’m Still Here’ for ya. π
Taking place back in 2002: This particular performance of the song was done during one of John’s appearances on Regis and Kelly. I believe this is, What, The third recorded performance of the song on TV? Disney, Leno and then this one, If my figures are correct.
Audio and Video Quality are both fair, I suppose, Though the video might be a little on the dark or blurry side.
Either way, Hope you enjoy another rare find. π
I concur with Ryne, the video for this one is quite blurry and dark, while the audio is quite clean. The clip comes with just the live take for the song, and no interview is featured.
This is obviously a VHS rip coming with the standardized 640x480p encoding format.
