As you all already know, just mere days ago the Goo Goo Dolls released a 30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition of their 1995 breakthrough album. The album came in different formats, including a beautiful blue Vinyl version. Contributor Bailey shares pictures of her own copy.
I don’t personally buy vinyls as I never wanted to invest in a player. I guess I’m too used to CD’s and digital releases. Vinyl releases are actually a thriving business, especially for those who like to collect rare material, and oftentimes come with special editions featuring very interesting artwork.
“A Boy Named Goo”‘s 30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition is no different, and Bailey has bought a copy. Let’s check it out. This is her analysis of it:
Hello!
This came in the mail yesterday, so I thought I’d share this with the blog.
The vinyl I purchased was the “Sea Blue” edition. Laying flat, it looks dark blue, which is why I took a picture holding it up to the light so you can see the beautiful light blue color. I didn’t take pictures of both vinyls, but they both look the same. Awesome quality and shipped really quickly. If you haven’t bought it, you should!!
-Cheers

I know you’re all salivating at the beauty of this nice packaging job.
Maybe I should actually buy a Vinyl player after all…
Thanks a lot Bailey for the pictures!
