A friend of mine who works in the music industry recently gave me access to professional tools used by real producers and audio engineers. Specifically, Ozone‘s latest version by IzoTope and its sister software RX. They also explained the basics to me before leaving me in the woods to fend for myself.
I took the song “You Know What I Mean” and applied my very basic knowledge of the aforementioned tools to remaster it. Below is the final result.
Among the processes I did was noise removal and overall optimizations of instruments and vocals.
Not bad for a newbie, I’d say.
