Our contributor Javier sent us a link to a YouTube video showcasing a 2002 concert the band did in New Jersey, which the uploader shared in its original, full HD version.
Months ago we posted the Camden, NJ live show John et al. performed at back in 2002 during their “Gutterflower” tour. The version we had is certainly not comparable to the one user markit aneight provided the world with mere weeks ago. Let’s get a bit more info from Javier himself:
Hi, it’s been a while since I’ve posted a video or a lost bootleg of my favorite band, but I found a 1080p remaster of the Goo Goo Dolls’ 2002 Camden concert on YouTube. It sounds fantastic. I’d love to share it on the website. Thanks, and long live the Goos!
I wouldn’t call it a remaster per se. This seems to be the actual original recording, done with a HD camera on a master line feed. Hence, it’s the master file without any type of compression applied to it. Kind of like a lossless audio file, if you will.
Anyhow, enough with the technicalities. Enjoy this very-high-quality version of a powerful and energetic show which takes us back more than two decades. Time flies indeed.
