Extremely rare “Hold Me Up” photoshoot (1990)

Our Contributor Bailey just sent us an extremely rare set of never-before-seen photos taken to promote the release of the band’s third album.

This is not the first time Bailey has suddenly flooded our email inbox with some very rare, amazing stuff. This time, we finally get the chance to see a collection of twelve pictures of John, Robby, and George taken in the summer of 1990 in Buffalo, NY. Needless to say, these shots were intended to promote “Hold Me Up”. Let’s get more details directly from Bailey:

Hello,

I found these pictures the other day, taken by a Buffalo photographer named Dave Jarosz in July 1990. These photos were part of a photoshoot for the band’s 3rd album, Hold Me Up and one of the pictures actually ended up on the back of the album.

They all have watermarks on them except the first one, but are still amazing! (The first one is my favorite)

Enjoy!!

-Bailey

The (only?) one which is potentially missing from the set was included in the actual physical release of the album. As you all can see, the entire set is in black-and-white, just like one which made the final cut.

Many thanks Bailey for unearthing yet another amazing gem!
