This is a very old and rare picture of Goo Goo Dolls’ lead singer John Rzeznik circa 1984, when he was playing with the band The Beaumonts, in his native Buffalo, NY. A member of the band was Robby Takac’s cousin. John and Robby met through the latter, and a year later they formed Sex Maggots, before converting the name to Goo Goo Dolls.

UPDATE: According to a user, the guy on the left is Artie Kwitchoff, the band’s first manager.
