Goo Goo Dolls’ first release being reissued on Vinyl for a special Black Friday event

USA label Culture Factory will be reissuing the band’s first album, originally released in 1987, through the vinyl format.

The LP will be limited to 3,200 copies only, and is to be considered a special, Black Friday edition release featuring a few perks slated to be available on November 24th, 2023.

Goo Goo Dolls (also known as First Release) is their first studio album, released in 1987. Before the Power Pop hits, this was a PURE RAW PUNK album recorded in their hometown of Buffalo, NY, mixing covers and originals. It has long been has been out of print and unavailable on vinyl. The package includes an OBI side strip, single album jacket, original album art cover, printed inner sleeve, original record labels and red/clear vinyl.

  1. Ah man now I want this too! Why do they just now start releasing all of these? I’m already on the list for preorders of the new live album, and I’m probably going to add that silver pressed deluxe edition of Dizzy to my collection…and man, now this is getting my attention!!
