Blog News: Temple Of Goo reaches a new milestone: 25k views

Dear Temple Of Goo Members,

A few days ago our tiny blog reached a new milestone: 25k Views.

This was not possible without YOUR involvement in the project.

Let’s take a look at a couple of statistics, which is an excellent way to look at how we have evolved and changed along the previous months.

On a YOY basis, from November 2022 to November 2023, we have an average of 1,476 monthly views, with a peak of 3,260 on September 2023.

Compared to 2022, which had a total of 7,191 views, 2023 brought in a staggering 17,870. Keep in mind that the blog became active on April 2022.

Which posts do our readers loved the most so far in 2023? Laurie Farinacci and George Tutuska lead the way. (You can ignore the first entry, which merely refers to the total amount of times people have browsed the main page).

Where do our readers come from in 2023? Needless to say, the USA (The Goo Goo Dolls are from there, so it makes perfect sense). However, there are more locations as well, as you can see from the graph below:

For a niche website, these data is quite nice.

Let me reiterate that the blog’s success is never the outcome of the sole work of its owner. There have been plenty of people which have helped along the way, including Sean Hampson, Bailey, and Javier to name a few. Your contribution is highly appreciated.

They say that when it comes to a website’s milestones, only the doubles have to be celebrated. Meaning, I’ll see you all again with another celebratory post when the blog achieves 50k views, which will hopefully happen very soon!
