Here are some more old and rare photos for all of you “Hold Me Up” fans out there.
The first two pictures were taken in 1990 whilst John and Robby were performing live.
We also have a couple of very cool 1991 takes. The first one is a colored version of a very famous photo they did to promote the release of the album, which so far I’ve only see in its black-and-white counterpart.
The second one is another little gem, featuring the whole gang, including a goofy George.

These pictures are so cool! I especially like the one where they’re sitting on a couch together. If I could make a speculation here, I’d say that that was the couch that they had in the demo studio at Trackmaster. I heard Robby talking about “things that happened on the couch” one time when he was talking about their studio.
Maybe this is just me, but they look like little kids at that angle! Especially George for whatever reason.
