“Good news, everyone!“… Actually… “Goo news, everyone!” sounds more appropriate.
We are proud to announce that an influx of Goo Goo Dolls bootlegs will soon hit the blog, thanks to our new contributor Christina.
The material will not only focus on bootlegged concerts, but there will be also clips of TV appearances the band has done along the years. If all goes well, you’re looking at numerous releases being cooked in our kitchen as we speak, certainly more than twenty.
While the chef is busy prepping those yummy meals, let’s take some time to learn more about Christina. This is a blurb she wrote to introduce herself to the community:
Hi, I’m Christina! I became a fan of the Goo Goo Dolls during the tail end of the DUTG era, so I was most active in fan circles around the time Gutterflower came out. I was fortunate to see the band in concert many times through the early ’00s (including my first concert ever) so they instilled a love of live music in me. I guess that’s why I’ve held onto some of their bootlegs for all these years. Over time I’ve fallen in love with other bands & artists, but the Goos — and especially the albums from their most “alternative” years — really shaped my musical taste and always have a place in my heart. Looking forward to sharing what I can with this community!
She also included a few pictures with her message, that is a couple of ticket stubs for two 2002 concert she attended to, and a picture of John she took while he was performing on stage.
Below is the Poughkeepsie gig stub:

And here is the one for the Roseland Ballroom NYC concert:

Lastly, John singing on stage at the show which stubs is above:

Welcome to the Temple Of Goo family, Christina!
Hey! If Christina reads this, welcome to the temple! That picture is great 🙂 super excited to see what bootlegs you have in store for all of us!
Thanks Bailey! It’s been great seeing all the cool things you’ve found for this blog – lots of throwbacks 🙂 Happy to chip in where I can!
Yeah! I love collecting pictures since everyone else seems to have the videos, etc. this blog is super cool and has already attracted some cool people like John’s ex-wife Laurie’s brother, so who knows where it’ll go next…?
Roseland!!!
Excellent news, looking forward to this
