Dear Temple Of Goo readers,
Today we officially introduce the “Archive.org Preservation Project (APP)” to our blog. You can find its dedicated page on the top Menu, under the “Unified Download Center” button.
APP aims at providing Goo Goo Dolls fans with a perpetual source where to obtain the digitalized contents featured in our blog.
Do you remember the Videopimped Goo Goo Dolls post? In the universe of the World Wide Web, websites come and go, and so do the files they host. With the help of Archive.org’s technologies, the Temple now has a better shot at preserving the amazing releases our contributors provide us with in a way which is likely to guaranteed them with a continuous online presence, regardless of whether or not the Temple Of Goo will stay online in the coming years.
Consider APP as an ulterior resource where to store the contents which are already distributed through the blog, in case the latter, for whatever reason, ceases to exit. APP is a great way for both older and newer fans to constantly have a safe place where to find the amazing Goo Goo Dolls stuff we’ve had the pleasure to host.
I encourage you all to read all the information provided in the dedicated page, which offers further details about the project.
Please notice that Temple Of Goo releases will be uploaded to Archive.org without a specific order.
