We travel back in time all the way to 1996, when “A Boy Named Goo” was all the rage, with this VHS recording of a show that took place on Independence Day.
The next release from contributor Ryne is a very cool 1996 concert that was executed on July 4th, 1996 at the Marcus Amphitheater in Wisconsin. Ryne has some more info about it:

For my fourth release, Since yesterday was July 4th, I do have a July 4th show to share.
This one comes from the Marcus Amphitheatre in Milwaukee, WI, On July 4th, 1996.
One of the many shows of the ‘Boy named goo’ tour, And certainly one of the more energized shows I’ve seen.
This one is a recorded Video, Probably a VHS rip of some sort, But comes with great footage and a great song list.
It especially comes with one of the early times that Cuz You’re Gone was played with 1000 words.

This is something we definitely had to post a few days back, in order to have it coincide with this year’s Independence Day and make a 28th anniversary event. Unfortunately, that week was a busy one for us so here we are. Better late than never, I guess.
As far as the release is concerned, this is indeed a VHS rip and it comes with the standardized 640x480p encoding format. Quality-wise I’d say pretty good for both the audio and video departments. It is a very energetic show like Ryne stated, clocking in at slightly more than 60 minutes of contents. The only complain I have about it is that I wish they had played some songs from older releases. Instead, they decided to focus only on the then-latest two albums.
