The next release from contributor Christina is a TV appearance John Rzeznik and Robby Takac did for the VH1 network. Specifically, the duo hosted a Top 10 video countdown from the amazing views surrounding the mountainous areas of Aspen, Colorado.
John and Robby are back as hosts in this 2000 video clip from one of the “Lift Ticket To Ride” episodes. Christina has more info to share about it:
John and Robby host a Top 10 music video countdown from the ski slopes of Aspen, Colorado. This is cute and they look like they’re having a great time — the gondola parts in particular made me laugh. I’d go skiing with them! Sorry again for the start being cut off of most of these segments; this is exactly how it was provided on the tape.
This is one of those mindless videos where the band members are having fun and don’t take themselves too seriously. There are some very nice bits in here which I’m not going to spoil for you, and just leave them to be discovered by those who are curious to check out this kind of stuff.
In terms of the file itself, this is obviously a VHS rip coming with the standardized 640x480p encoding format. Quality-wise, there is some flickering here and there but overall I’d say not bad.
This is the kind of content you want to enjoy as you relax on a comfy couch with some popcorn.
